Memorial Day

Over Memorial Day Weekend we went to Siesta Key with the Bachman and Handley families. We had a wonderful trip! Our three families rented one house and it was perfect. We visited the beach each day, enjoyed the pool at our house and took advantage of being close to Siesta village. Great memories!

NC Spring Trip 2011

We made plans with the Zwayer's to head to North Carolina and spend some time at our place in Saluda and then at their place in Brevard. We had a wonderful trip, jam packed with adventures. We enjoyed a jamboree, art festival, triathlon training, LOTS of good eating, downtown shopping, hiking, exploring and lots of fond memories. This is a destination that I know our families will have many special memories at throughout the years.
At the Jamboree with Nene.
First Face Painting

The Jamboree had this huge hill out front which entertained these two for quite some time

Inside the Jamboree they had live music. Heagan was having a ball. She danced and danced.

Our Sweet Babies

MELT my HEART!!

Mountainview Baptist. Our families with the Mintz Family. Love these families and this church.

Huntley woke up with this bed head from one of his naps. Hilarious!

Triple Falls

Swimming in the river while the daddy's went on up for more exploring

Now it all makes since as to why I was struggling getting up these mountains:) Had a bun in the oven and didn't even know it!

Checking out the fish at the fish hatchery

Sliding Rock. Eric, Bryan and Molly Jane all went down!

The perfect place to store the binky when not in use:)

Sweet Faces

On our last evening there we enjoyed a steak and crab leg feast compliments of mom and dad. Uncle Edward and his motorcycle group, known as the "Mild Hogs" were in the area and joined us. It was quite the feast and the best of company with lots of family and NC friends. Huntley enjoyed looking at all the big motorcycles and even got to wear a cool dude rag while he rode his mini version of a Harley.

The next day the Zwayers were off to Brevard and we were off to Siesta Key.
