School Morning Pictures

We are trying to get use to the early mornings and schedules that now control our day.  The last week and half has been draining to say the least especially emotionally, but I think we are getting use to the new normal and are going to tackle this year with no problem!  I am continually grateful for God's protection and provision.

First Day for Huntley and Heagan

Kindergarten and First Grade!
This will be the first day all 3 of our babes will be in school.   I will surely have a new normal to get use to.  I have been home with a baby for the last 6 1/2 years.  This is a bittersweet morning.  It's the perfect mixture of excitement and nostalgia.  Tears run down my cheeks but I can't hide the smile they cause across my face!  Lord protect their hearts and minds.

LCE Open House

The thought of having two in elementary school is crazy to me.  I really can't comprehend how fast this happened.  Huntley and Heagan are excited for the school year to begin.  They were anxious to meet their teachers and see who would be in their class.  They were both excited that they would be in the same hallway diagonal from each other so they can even see through their classroom windows into each other's classrooms.  Mrs. Moretz and Mrs. Troutman are excellent teachers and they are about to get to teach some adorably precious and smart gems.  We are ready to tackle this new normal.  Thank you Jesus for such a special school and the leaders that shine and glorify You so evidently.

Hatton's First Day of Preschool

This little sweet thing is off to preschool.  She is so ready!  She started a couple days earlier then her brother and sister.  They were still snoozing when she departed with daddy.  I'm thankful they were home to keep this momma from getting too sad.  I prayed over and over her that she would be surrounded by Godly friends and adults!  God has answered my prayer already because she has the sweetest friends in her class and her teacher is a God send.  Got get em' big girl, you've been waiting for this day for a long time.  Love our Hattie Pattie!
After we picked her up, we headed to Sebring to meet daddy for lunch and get school supplies for Huntley and Heagan.  We had to celebrate the day with a trip to Sweet Frogs before heading back home.  Later that evening Mrs. Oliveras, her awesome teacher, sent me a picture of her taking care of the babies at school.  She will surely be the mother hen in the class.

Hatton's Open House

Hatton has been so excited that it is finally her turn to go to school.  However, she is not excited about the fact the neither her brother or sister go to this school anymore.  Oh that girl!  She just wants to grow up so fast.  I can't believe all my kids will be in school this year.  It is mind blowing how fast these precious years are flying by.  Get ready Mrs. Oliveras because here she comes!

Sweet Girls

Just some random afternoons of fun.  Love how Hatton unexpectedly shows up to cook cookies at the neighbors dressed to the nines and I get sent a picture!

Beth's Wedding

Beth and Jonathan are hitched.  The kids were so excited about their wedding.  It was a beautiful celebration and a fun evening.  Wish I would've captured a picture of the lovely bride and groom and our handsome Huntley.

North Florida Trip 2 of the Summer

We made another trip up to the camp in North Florida.  This time we were picking up the puppies we left a few weeks ago and planned a scalloping trip.  Timmy, Kim, and the kids joined in on this trip so that made it even more fun! We arrived in the evening so we had a little fun and then it was to bed.  The next morning we went to pick up the dogs and do a few things in town.  We came back to camp and the guys did some handy work while we played.  Later we took a ride in the woods and went fishing.  The fish weren't biting so the kids had fun with the worms instead.  We cooked at the camp that evening and rested up for the next day.  The next morning we loaded up and went to Appalachicola for an early lunch and then went to Cape San Blas to meet our guide for scalloping.  The scallops were far and few between but we all had a great time.  Hatton preferred staying on the boat with the guide "Doc" and ate everything in sight and chatted with him.  All the other kids enjoyed snorkeling around in the water.  On the way back to camp, we stopped back in Appalachicola and ate dinner at an awesome Oyster restaurant then it was back to camp for smore's.  Our last day, we went to Saint George Island and spent time at the beach and then more time in the woods that evening.  We have truly enjoyed our two getaways this summer to camp!!

Siesta Beach Triathlon 2015

Bryan did the Sprint Triathlon in Siesta Key.  We usually make a trip out of this event, but we have been on the go so much and it was a last minute decision so we literally drove over the night before and found a place to stay.  We loved the place we stayed and look forward to going back for more time next year like we usually do.  He did awesome in his race.  He accidentally registered for the Elite group and it pushed him harder and he did awesome.
Swim 6:35
Bike 34:45
Run 22:24
Total Time: 1:07:34
He was the 6th male overall!!  That's my man!
The kids and I waited for him by our place we stayed to come by on his bike, then we walked to the beach and saw him on the run.  We enjoyed the beach and pool for awhile til daddy came back and we packed up and headed home.  Such a great one day getaway!  Love sharing life with them.
