Camping at the Bombing Range

We needed a good excuse to use our camper, so we planned a close-by camping trip to the bombing range.  We just went for one night.  The kids had a blast!  I have to say it's a lot of work to camp with little ones, but they enjoy it so much.  Seeing them have such a great time makes it all worth while!  I gonna miss them being little like this.  I wish I could freeze them, sometimes:)
Hatton was ready to walk on the catwalk!
Greer spent the weekend with us, which is always a bonus!
Everyone trying to take care of the baby!
We made it to the destination.  The kids thought this tower was fun.  They went to the top several times.  You can see them looking through at the top.
This was the highlight of the trip.  All the kids enjoyed playing in the creek.
Then they discovered mud and tires.  They were hilarious spinning in the mud with their bike tires.  They dug down so the bike would stay stationary, then they would pile the dirt by the back tire and let it rip!  Dirt would fly everywhere and giggles were coming from all of them!  Redneck fun for sure.
Happy Trails.....until we meet again!

Dirty Dozen Mud Run

Oh Erin how did you ever talk me into this???  Erin encouraged a group of us girls to sign up for the mud run.  We knew this would just be hilarious with our girlfriends.  Well, not gonna mention any names, all those so called girlfriends left us hanging.  Eric took up the slack for one of them, but the others......well they just left us out there all alone!  Erin I owe you!  I can't wait to figure out what I'm going to talk you into.  I actually had a great time and maybe just maybe will do it again:)
The challenge was to run approx. 2 miles with 12 obstacles along the way.  We ran through mud pits, crawled under fences, ran nearly the whole way in sugar sand, climbed nets and boards, and all sorts of other things.

Crazy Hair Day at School

Thanks to Mrs. Merlo for saving the day.  I didn't get the memo about this crazy day, so when Huntley showed up with his normal hair, she came to my rescue and fixed him right up.

Papa Love

Hatton's favorite person right now is no other than her Papa!  Papa is one her favorite words.  She gets absolutely beside herself when she sees him coming.  She nearly trips over herself running to him.  I'm not sure who loves it more, her or him!  He loves both these girls so much!

5K

I ran in the LP Chamber 5K race.  My sweet husband ran with me to make my pace faster. He did his job well.  I ran a PR for myself at 29:40.  This was my first race back after having kids, I hope it's the first of many!  I've gotta stay motivated to keep up with this crew around here!

End of Year Trip

Huntley had another field trip with his school.  They went to the Children's Museum and Highlands Hammock.  It's really cute to see him and all his little friends interacting and having fun.  The girls went to and, of course, had a ball.

Gran Time

Gran came home from the mountains and we couldn't wait to see her.  We spent time playing at her house, went out to lunch, and ran some errands.  My children absolutely love spending time with Gran. She is so much fun and has so many fun things at her house.  Precious memories!

Hatton's Dedication/Mother's Day

This Mother's Day was extra special because we finally had Hatton dedicated.  Last Mother's Day, we were in transition of churches so she missed getting dedicated on her first Mother's Day.  This is such a special day to us, as it is our greatest priority that our children know their Lord and Savior.  We know that she is our gift from Him.  We want to raise her in a Christian home that is a true example of His love and mercy.    Thank you Jesus for this special blessing!
We had lots of family come and support our sweet girl being dedicated.  We then celebrated her and Mother's Day after church with lunch.  We are so blessed with a loving family.
A flashback to her sister's dedication.  They were able to wear the same outfit.
My Mother's Day could not have been more special.  I am one blessed mommy!  I am beyond thankful for my wonderful mother.  Every night I tell my babies how glad I am that Jesus picked me to be their mommy, I am so lucky!
Happy Mother's Day!
