After a delicious feast and visiting by the fire far too late, we went to bed and woke to eat once again. Our group doesn't mess around when it comes to eating. The guys prepared a huge breakfast buffet that was super yummy. The kids got right back in the dirt and puddles and played hard. We cleaned them up a bit to load up and do some fishing. The kids were all catching fish which made it super fun and entertaining. We rode around in the woods a little bit and watched them do some controlled burning. We went back to camp and loaded up to head home. Hatton was asleep before we were even out the gate. The kids had one of the best weekends ever and have reason to be exhausted.

Camping Day1
Friday night we headed out to the bombing range to camp for the weekend. There was a huge crowd. We enjoyed a yummy dinner Friday night. Saturday morning, we woke early to get back to Lake Placid for Huntley's first T-ball game. After his game, we headed back out to enjoy the Wild Game Luncheon. As we were heading back to our campsite it down poured. The rain didn't last long, but it flooded the camp and made the kids day! All of us adults sat and relaxed and watched our kids have the BEST time ever in all the puddles. The creek was right there too so they enjoyed dipping in the creek as well. They loved riding their bikes, scooters, driving trucks, throwing balls and running through all the water. They made lots of mud pies and got as dirty as they possibly could. You couldn't help but smile at all the fun!
more fun to come….

Game Day!
Game day is here!!! Huntley had his first T-ball game on Saturday. We were all so excited. We stayed at the bombing range the night before in the camper, so we had a very early morning. I just can't believe he is already playing ball. First they had a little opening ceremony. They introduced each player and their coaches. I was one proud momma watching him. #9 is my new favorite number. They were all so cute doing their thing out there. Daddy is helping coach and his two sisters were the cutest cheerleaders. All of his grandparents came to watch him. A special day, indeed! Go Huntley!!
Straight Hair
Heagan was watching me to do my hair and asked if I would do hers. I told her that I didn't want to take her curls away and that I loved the curls Jesus gave her. She said she didn't like them and wanted them straight…sniff, sniff! I proceeded to do her hair and couldn't believe how long it was. Of course, she looked beautiful, but not near as beautiful as she is with her curls!
