The kids enjoyed their goodies from the Easter bunny.  Then we were off to church to celebrate the true meaning of Easter.  Our Jesus is Alive!!

Happy Birthday, Luca!

We had a "ball"!

Lafon Family Gathering

My mom's family had a gathering in Bowling Green just before Easter.  We enjoyed seeing lots of family we rarely see.  Huntley, Heagan, and Hatton met lots of new faces and had a great time.
Mari Heagan was so excited when her Gran Gran arrived she ran and parted the crowd to get to her.  Gran Gran eats it up and has a special place in her heart for her namesake.
Hatton and her Great Gran Gran
 Elizabeth and Gran
We went on an incredibly LONG nature hike.  Like 3 miles through sand while pushing a stroller and holding Heagan.  It was quite the adventure.  Lots of laughs and it really was a good time.  Even my 87 year old grandmother made the trek like it was nothing, so I tried not to huff and puff too much!
A picture I will long cherish....pure sweetness!

Disney on Ice: Worlds of Fantasy

We took the big kids to see Disney on Ice at the Germaine Arena in Estero.  The show was spectacular and the kids loved it.  They were so excited to see all of their favorite characters.  Afterwards, we enjoyed a late lunch at Cheddar's and headed home.  This is an event we will surely have to do again when Hatton is familiar with all the characters.
