North Florida Trip

We made a trip up to the hunting camp in North Florida.  We arrived Thursday late afternoon and picked up some groceries and headed to camp to cook out.  The next morning, Bryan had a list of things he wanted to work on and catch up on around the camp area and the kids and I enjoyed exploring and playing cards and such.  That afternoon we loaded up and drove over to Saint George Island for a few hours at the beach and then a yummy seafood dinner.  Saturday, we woke and went into Blountstown for breakfast and then we had some deer puppies to drop off to a trainer there.  The kids enjoyed going around and seeing the different puppies and all the rabbits in the training pens.  After that, we kinda took a scenic route back over to the beach going through Mexico beach, Appalachicola, and then back to Saint George Island.  We enjoyed another couple hours at the beach and then hit a local pizza joint before heading back to camp and building a fire and making smores.  Sunday we headed to Tallahassee to do some shopping before heading back home.  We had a great trip and hope to go again before summer is over.
Who needs clothes when your in the woods?
But you do need to bring a princess dress….just in case
This was fun til one of the seagulls got Heagan's finger.

It's not the memories I love the most…it's who I share them with!

Bonita for a Day

We have attended the Florida Citrus Conference in Bonita Springs nearly every year.  This year we did not go but we couldn't stay away from all the fun.  The kids and I made a day trip to hang out with some of our favorites for a fun splashy day.  We enjoyed swimming and sliding at the main pool for the first part of the afternoon and then headed over to the lazy river for the latter part of our day.  The kids enjoyed it and I'm glad we didn't miss out on another year of great memories.

First Sleepover-Indoor Camping

Huntley was so excited when Nate asked him if he would like to stay the night with him in his living room in his tent.  This was his first time staying the night with a friend and even though it was only 3 doors down from our house it was a big deal.  I think they enjoyed their night of indoor camping.

Momma's Hair

Emily captured these sweet pictures of Hatton just content playing with my hair one lazy evening.

Cheer Clinic

Gracie is now a Vasity cheerleader in Sebring, so we signed the girls up for a one day camp.  It was an extremely long day for them, but I think they enjoyed it and had a good time.

Hatton's VERY belated Happy Birthday!

Hatton's birthday fell on a very busy weekend for our family.  It was the week we moved, so no party was planned.  That was in January.  Here it is June and we have yet to celebrate.  She has not forgotten.  On a daily basis she ask when is her party.  She is nearly 3 1/2 years old but still says she is 2 because there has been no Elsa cake.  Heagan's birthday is approaching next month and I knew if she had a party before Hatton had hers there would be some therapy in the future, so an impromptu Frozen party it was.  Thankfully, Charlotte Grace had some left over Frozen decor from her party that suited Hatton perfectly.  She was thrilled and couldn't have been more excited for her friends to come and have snacks and cupcakes.  Happy 3rd Birthday Hattie! (or 3rd and a half!)  We will eat you up we love you so!
