Lion Country Safari

The last day of spring break we decided to take the kids to Lion Country Safari.  Greer joined us and we had a great day.  The kids enjoyed the ride through the safari to see all the different animals.  It was really neat to be so up close and personal.  After the safari drive we went into the park and had fun riding rides, seeing more animals, petting goats at the petting zoo, and splashing at the splash park.  A good time had by all.

Spring Break Fun

Spring Break started off fun when Daddy surprised us with this huge temporary pool.  We moved all the furniture off our deck and the pool covered the space.  The water was freezing but it was so much fun. We spent part of our day swimming almost everyday during break.

 We also enjoyed being creative.  Lots of rain was in the forecast so they were allowed to paint anything and anywhere they wanted to outside since I knew that rain would wash everything clean.

 Huntley enjoyed getting creative and creating things.  He made this airplane out of pens, pencils, and tape.

Races 2014

We had a good time at the races this year.  Thursday night just us and the big kids went out for dinner and watched the night practice.  The kids remembered the races from last year and were very excited to go see the fast cars.  On Friday, I didn't make it out there until around dinner time.  We had a big event coming up on Sunday and I had lots to do to prepare for that.  Saturday we spent the day out there.  The kids loved it.  I didn't take hardly any pictures but here are the few I did get.
